Custom Built For Each Project


The SpaceJoist open web floor system is designed and fabricated according to each project's specifications. The joists supporting additional loads (stairwell openings, cantilevers) are manufactured with the necessary reinforcements. In addition, the vertical end posts at the bearings allow for proper vertical load transfer, thus eliminating the requirements for additional reinforcements. A 2x4 continuous ribbon may be installed to provide lateral stability and serve as a nailing surface for the subfloor.
